The truth about premier care and businesses like them

I will be 100% honest here. I think this is a point that needs to be taken into consideration. I am a installer for premier and have been for a couple of years. There is 22 complaints on this site about premier. assuming they are all valid complaints(In my opinion this would be a stretch), I myself have installed over 125 tubs and showers for premier in my 2 years. We install in many states and have numerous installers in them. I guess my point is, When you get a product, Say a new dryer or washer, If you are 100% satisfied you use it without ever thinking about it again. BUT, If it is a piece of junk or doesnt work that good and you feel you didnt get the best deal or what was represented, You will make a point to go on the internet and find a place to give this piece of junk dryer a *** review. Point being, All the 1000's and 1000's tubs and showers our company has installed. 22 people were not happy customers. People only complain when they are not happy. Dont get me wrong, i could go on and on about the extremes premier has gone to make customers happy. But you just can not please everyone.

How about all of the contractors they have ripped off by not paying them for the work they have done for them? They did it to our company and many others like us.

I have filed complaints against them with the Attorney General's office in both VT and FL, I urge other business owners to do the same if they have also experienced this, as well as any customers they ripped off.

Business like this should not be allowed to exist. It appears as if they are not only scamming their own customers, but the contractors they hire out to do their electrical work as well.

Guest

What ever you are just covering for them so that you can get paid from the money they steal from the elderly. I worked for them longer than you and premier baths are all thirds.

Oh by the way since you said you worked here on the south was Ruby Gochi doing your papers that you turn in. Because she is also a scammer like the rest of you crooks she knows what goes on and keeps it hush hush. You get paid for mileage, gas, hotel, and any extra work you do for them.

So don't go their trying to lie for them. Big ripoff from the installers and Premier baths.

Guest

You have installed tubs in many states? So in how many states are Licensed as plumber?

or do you sneak in and get the job done before they catch you? Premiere's notorious for this!

Guest

A friend of mine has been in the process of having their batnroom "remodeled " by one of you so called installers. The door to the bathroom was only 32", not enough to fit his wifes chair through.

The salesman from premier said not to worry our contractor will make it 36" and completely ADA accessible, they can take out this wall and widen the door all included in the price. Well the installer did tear the wall down and widen the door. Now everyone knows if you tear open a wall and widen doors, there just might be some electrical involved, and of course there was. This installer of yours had no idea who or how the electricalal was going to be fixed, and the contact at premier was no where to be found.

Luckily for my buddy, ive been an electrician for 18 yrs and in construction for 30 and i fixed it. Asking the installer, who proudly boasts of working with them for 9 yrs and said he has removed many walls and doors for them in the past, seems to have never come across electrical before. His excuse of "salesman promise the world, it wasnt in my bid, and now im out of pocket" just doesnt cover it. So whos to blame, the salesman for promising the world, or the installer for not having a clue.

Well you both are at fault, the salesman and the installer for trying to scam these people.. your argument of only 22 complaints..go *** yourself.

This sight with these complaints and the many other complaints of this company on others are hopefully enough to make people look at what kind of scams your playing.it only takes one grape to spoil the bunch, and this bunch is spoiled.

$18,000 tub for the elderly!!! Your company should be shut down immediately but I'm sure it won't. But you go on and sleep peacefully at night in this life because I highly doubt you'll enjoy your eternity.

Guest

I love my Premier Walk-In tub!!!!!! While it is filling, I read a good paperback!

Before I know it, it's filled. I do the same when it's emptying! Sometimes when it's emptying, I stand and do some exercises - sitting and standing withou using hands.

I am 72 years old with aches and pain, best investment.

AS THE INSTALLER SAID, 31 COMPLAINTS OR 100 COMPLAINTS ARE NOTHING COMPARED TO HOW MANY THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF HAPPY CUSTOMERS WE HAVE. I AM PERSONALLY INSULTED BY THE COMMENTS ABOUT "TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY".

I AM A CUSTOMER ADVISOR HERE AT PREMIER AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HONEST AND ABOVE BOARD. PEOPLE JUST LOVE TO COMPLAIN, I WISH ALL OUR HAPPY CUSTOMERS WOULD LEAVE COMMENTS...I GUESS THEY ARE HOME ENJOYING THEIR TUBS!!!!

I did!!!!!! Read mine. Forgot to add - installers were great!

Guest

I am not a customer and never will be after reading so many complaints all over the internet. I think your Premier Bath Co is unethical and heartless not refunding money to prospective clients when extreme situations arise.

IE: before an installation commences, the buyer is diagnosed with terminal cancer. That is JUST WRONG you keep their money. Premier Baths are expensive and the down payment of $6000 is pure thievery when you keep that. You take advantage of the ailing elderly and that is so wrong.

I will not ever buy your baths nor will my family and friends.

Guest

16000.00 for a bathtub. And this was no special install.

This company is nothing but a bunch of vulture's. The focus on the elderly.

I wish my mother had ask first. But of course it "had to be installed for better price" 16000.00 For a bathtub!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My name is Magnolia Thomas. I live in Canton NC.

After viewing, several times, The commercial on tv about your "good work" and listening to the older people, I call and a Mr. Drummond came to see me on September 21, 2012. He measured my bathroom door and the interior of my bathroom and said the job of replacing the bathtub, cammode and sink could be done with "no problems" I gave him a check of $2,000 and a check for $1,700 for supplies. Approximately a couple of weeks later, a man came and said he had been sent to redo my bath.

He came alone and asked me to get him someone to help. I called a young man who helped me with my yard and paid that young man $250.00. The fellow worked for two days, then told me that the tub was leaking and there was nothing he could do about it. I told him that I would not pay him a dime until the leak was fixed.

In addition, when I checked the tub after he finally left, there wads a broken chip on it. He was rude and threatening. I paid him to get him out of my home and, YES, I cancelled the check and called Mr. Drummond about the incident.

A Mr. Moose and his son-in-law was sent next. He did some work...laid some tile, but broke the tile to the entrance of the bath, broke the plaster around the door frame (I discovered this after he had gone) and just did a shoddy job. My lawyer thinks they may have seen that old black woman (me) and decided they could do a half-butt job and get away with it.

I am an educator with an EdS degree. My husband often told me that I was too trusting, especially since I worked with high school students. I taught Chemistry, was a vice-principal and a principal. Although my confidence has been shaken with this incident, I still believe that MOST people will do the right thing.

After Mr. Moose left, I checked out the bath and found several things wrong. I called Mr. Drummond, a place in Florida and some one in Canada who assured me that everything would be fixed to my satisfaction.

I told him that his company had two opportunities to do the job right and I did not trust him or his company anymore and I just wanted my money back so that I could get someone local to get the job done. I have not heard from anyone since. I have paid $13,700 PLUS $250.00 to get my bath done right and have been messed over.

SHAME ON YOU!!!!

Why are you telling Premier Tub that you want an immediate response from them on this site? This site is for people to vent on, not to expect help from a business.

If your Mom was getting out of the tub, how did the door throw her out of the tub? In order to do that she would have had to be in front of the door and in that case she would have already been out of the tub and would more than likely have tripped on something, gotten her own feet tangled up, etc.

Also when you use all caps that means you are shouting at us.

Parents taken advantage of!

About 8 years ago, without consulting anyone, my parents fell for the scam of the Premier walk-in tub. They paid $15,000.00 for the tub and installation. Both have recently passed away and in selling their home, we have discovered that the tub was not installed correctly, the wiring for the spa feature was never hooked up correctly, and appropriate permits for this installation were never obtained by the installers. Fortunately they never used the spa jets, otherwise they could have been electrocuted due to the faulty wiring. In addition to paying a plumber and electrician to make the corrections prior to sale, we discovered that they could have purchased a similar tub and had it installed for half the price that Premier charged. I feel that this company definitely took advantage of my parents advanced age and physical condition. Had they consulted with me first I would have guided them towards a standard shower with a seat.

I'd like to see a younger person sit in when salespersons try to sell something to the elderly. My elder neighbor decided she needed a new garage, even though she didn't have a car!

She also made a deal for new windows. When we found out about it, the neighbor, a law student, tried to press charges. I drove out to the seller's house. I could see through the window that it was empty.

They stole the old lady's money. Unfortunately, the woman never mentioned that she was considering these things.

Please take an interest in old folks to stop this sort of thing. We're all going to be old if we live long enough!

Guest

I understand your grievance, but it is grossly misdirected. You yourself should do a little research before placing blame.

If you had you would have known that Premier Care in Bathing is in no way responsible or liable for any electrical work performed in a customers home. As the electrical clause on the contract reads; "Premier Baths, Inc. are not registered electricians and are unable to modify or connect to your home electrical system. It is the CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY and COST to arrange a licensed electrical contractor for fulfill such work".

This clause also requires a separate signature apart from the rest of the contract; so your parents were fully aware of this I assure you. Also, of course the contract prices are going to be higher then what "Handy Randy" from down the street would quote you. Premier is an international company with overhead; and a product that is much more superior to the "similar tub" you saw at The Home Depot. It wouldn't hurt for you to do some consulting of your own if you plan to provide consultation for others.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-644064

Which is exactly why younger people should sit in on these contracts when older people are involved. The salespeople often know when they can scam people or gloss over details. Many companies do this especially when the elderly are involved.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-644064

While you are correct about the electrical disclosure, to say that the only other source of walk in bathtubs or showers are from

the Home Depot or "Handy Randy" is wrong. Quality, American walk in tubs and showers can be purchased from plumbing supply houses,

local dealers that are affiliated with the many different manufactures.

Many that can be installed for half that of a Premier tub.

Also I think that there should always be a family member present when the sales/purchase is being discussed. I always ask the couple if they want a family member present. But, it doesn't happen all the time because they feel that infringes on their independence.

Therefor, honesty is best. Deal with them the way you would want your parents dealt with.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-644064

are you ******* kidding me? "It wouldn't hurt for you to do some consulting of your own if you plan to provide consultation for others." for god sake, the man lost his parents and you are still trying to pitch!?

what now, you want to set up an appointment for him so that the telemarketers can get commission?!

People, i worked as a telemarketer for this company before, but I got so sick and tired of all their craps I decided to quit.

It's disgusting even to think about it.

Guest

They pay less than a grand for these units and sell them for 18k. With kick backs to management being paid all the way along.

I guarantee not one person working at Premier would want their relatives buying a tub. And yes, they do sell your personal information to other companies

Wing Nfj

I actually called this company a few weeks ago about one of their shower setups. Fortunately I did a Google search for reviews of their product and there were a LOT of complaints about Premier. The good part is that I called to cancel and they haven't bothered me since.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Wing Nfj

Premier care installs thousands of tubs a year in the u.s. no one ever goes on these sites and says how happy they are or how there new tub has change there life.

They just go out of there way to complain on the internet. The amount of complaints there are on these sites compared to the amount of satisfied happy customers is minutely small.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-649595

The premise of your argument is absurd, so your conclusion is illogical and wrong. By your premise those few who complain about Premier online are the only unhappy, cheated, or abused customers.

A very small percentage of customers with complaints seek out places such as this to relate their story. And that percentage is very much smaller for the elderly...even here how many complaints are actually made by the elderly person(s) who were duped? How many elderly people fighting to keep their independence would openly admit this?

Perhaps you are a conscientious installer who works hard to give people a good experience, but these people relate far different experiences.

There are far too many companies that prey on the elderly and charge far more than other companies in the same business.

That a good company might unknowingly hire such a salesperson or installer is always possible, but if this were the case with Premier then those customers would be better treated when the company was made aware of that salesperson's or installer's inappropriate actions. That the company treats them as reported here seems to indicate that they approve such behavior among their staff and installers.

Learned the Hard Way

This company has a proven track record of taking advantage of the disabled/elderly, both in their Canadian and American services. There have been documented cases of undue influence and high pressure/low-informative sales tactics, relying on signed contracts where the consumer has not been informed of the contractual provisions. These practices have included deceptive sales techniques, like ambiguous and misleading comments indicating a very low price, without drawing an elderly or disabled person's attention to the actual, much higher price (which has been upwards ten times more than the price indicated via comments). These contracts have been the subject of numerous complaints to consumer protection agencies. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR LOVED ONES.

I was reading these reviews and it seems like this company takes advantage of elderly and disabled clients. Some of the people have dementia or are visually impaired and could not read the contacts. Is this ethical?

Leaking seal, poor workmanship

We had trouble from the start, with the installer, every time I pointed out something i did no like, he would come back with do not tell me my job ! The tub is now installed looks like a sight for sore eyes, leaks, no permit pulled. Had a manager come out to inspect and he agreed that it was very poor workmanship. My mother is up in age, at 87, and she does not need this stress so I am tryhing to handle this matter. The manager, cleaned the seal with a chemical, and said it would not leak and quickly drained the tub. After he departed, I filled the tub, and let it sit over night, and in the morning I checked it and it was leaking. This was a major@ investment that is quickly going down the drain, I do not know what else to do. Affording a lawyer can get real expensive, and my mom cannot afford any further expense. Any help from out side source, please contact Wayne Pino MYCHEVELE4SPD@***.COM

Call the 1-800 number the installer left with the customer and it will be handled. The door seals have a lifetime warranty....

Make sure there's no bits on the seal, look to see if seal is slashed just like a bike inatube,or take the seal of all together clean the surface an replace the seal using clear silicone putting it back on

SOOOOOOOO disapointed in this company. My elderly parents purchased the tub and have had trouble with it from the get go.

The latest problem was a leaky door. It took me from Feb. 7, to March 8,. to get somebody, anybody to come and fix it.

The buck was passed from their "customer service" (no service involved there), to the sub-contractor and back again. I've NEVER seen such pisspoor service or lack of empathy in my life! Even after explaining, this is the only tub my 97 year old Dad can use. I even had a service rep.

tell me he had called my Mother 2 weeks Feb. re: the tub. Not bloody likely,as my Mother passed away 1 1/2 years ago. He had no explaination for that.

Long story short....do your homework before you let vulchers take your parents savings. They don't have their customers in mind past the signing of the contract.

What's sad is they don't seem to want to do any better. :(

Senior cit walk in bath tub

sight unseen show room far away sales person inexperienced installers told me not to use the tub for 24 hours because glue must dry, but sign for delivery, if I didn't, installers would sit on front stoop overnight until i had used the tub. I signed and was later informed of a clause on the back of the contract in 1/32" print stating that calif laws on returns had been voided. Attempted to call mfg. unsuccessful. Later discovered installers different co. from mfg. and no responsibility in either direction. went to small claims no satisfactory outcome. was only offered an exchange which didn't work either

You didn't even state an actual issue or problem with the product or installation. Your installer was correct, it is standard procedure to allow the tub to cure for 24-48 hours.

If you use the tub before this time period is up, your warranty will be voided.

I don't understand why signing for completion was a problem as I'm sure the installer properly demonstrated the filling and draining of the tub as well as the operations of the door, faucet, riser rail and hand shower and the hydrovescent therapy. Your complaint is terribly vague.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-644066

This installer is 100% correct. ANY tub or shower you have installed, the installer will(or Should) ask you to wait 24 hours for the caulk(GLUE) to dry.

The reason you got no where in small claims is because you were in the wrong. i am soory you purchased something you didnt want but indeed, premier is top in the industry and we take pride in the product, the installation and the customer service we offer.

Premier Bath - *** Product

Did not even really care what my husband needed. Told us the hydrotherapy would help his swelling in his legs. Ha ha. Told us it would help him walk. The salesman told us his wife was up and walking in no time as she suffered from the same illness as my husband. Just wanted to make a sale. Made his commission for sure....A fool and his money....Installation was so-so. Thought that my husband could use this when he was walking but he cannot use it now as he is confined to a wheelchair so the walk in tub is totally useless. We have to put his gait belt on and hoist him in there. How much fun is that for him? Will now have to remodel the shower so he will be able to use that. What *** fools we were. Yep, 12K for a shower/bathtub, what was I thinking? Not. But it is what it is. We will be putting our house on the market soon, I can hardly wait for all the comments about the wonderful tub/shower whatever it is. I am sure it will be a highlight and sell the house for sure.

Premier doesn't care about any customer. They'll promise anything to make a sale.

They rip off customers, screw installers out of money, try to avoid building permits. It's all based on deception, then take the money and run.

Guest

I use to install for Premiere for about 2 months, started noticing all the lies. I would like to encourage "howdythere" to turn Premiere into the texas board of plumbing.

They do not use licensed people to install their tubs or showers. They are also suppose to pull a permit, if in the city. It is free of charge, this will get them in huge trouble.

I am a master plumber whom they also screwed over as well. email me anytime draincrazy@***.com

Jim, I could not believe they did not include electrical work in their so called estimate and the tub needs an outlet. We were told we would have to secure our own electrician.

Once we found out the cost he would not even include a toilet install. Like I mentioned in a previous post our family had a completely different opinion when we visited the "tiny" show room on Daytona.

Good for you for moving on. :(

I have done a few installs for Premier. They rip us of too.

I had licensed plumber and permits. They shorted my pay and the plumbers. The customer's son had arguement with a Premier rep on the phone the day of install over the proper agreed to price because of changes.

It's a deceptive company that will keep rolling over everybody until the state or inspectors get involved. If your considering a Premier tub, STOP, and shop around, you can find a better product localy.

Refused to Provide Refund

I am having a very bad experience with Premier Care wherein they refused to refund $2,000. I cancelled the installation because Premiere made scheduling errors even after I had a licensed electrican scheduled to meet them at a certain time per their request. Premiere called my daugther the evening before the installation at 10:30 p.m. asking if I had the tub. I told him no - that since I live in a condo, he was to be instructed to bring the tub with him. He said the tub was not at the warehouse and he would have to contact scheduling the next morning. He called the next morning and informed me that he had to drive 4 hours to get the tub and could not begin installing until 2:00 p.m.. I called the sales person and told him that was unacceptable because I already had an electrican lined up to do the work. When they showed up the next morning, they informed me the electrician had put the outlet on the wrong wall. Had they been at my home when they said they would, they could have met the electrican as they requested, but it did not happen. I think it is very poor business when a company this large cannot get their act together and refuses to refund my money. Electricians are not cheap. They did offer to pay for the electrican;however, after the nightmare I have gone through already, I do not wish to deal with this company and have lost trust. They should give me my refund of $2,000 PLUS the cost of the electrican that was $400.00. I still have *** in the wall which I am going to have to pay for an electrician to come back to repair which will cost me even more money.

Did you report this to the State Attorney Generals Office or the BBB ?

Reporting issues to the state enables them to keep a record of total complaints. Which will enable them to act against dishonest companies.

The BBB has a good record in getting Premier to respond.

And don't forget about TV. They love exposing crooked contractors.

Cheskel Rwa

My cousin is having a hard time getting her refund from the horrible company. Can anyone out there tell me what you did to get your money back? Thank you for any help.

Update - Premiere Care did refund the money and the cost of the electrician. However, I decided not to have the tub installed.

I would rather deal with someone else if I decide to get one installed.

There are other companies out there that are much less expensive and provide the same service. Check those before you pay thousands of dollars.

Sir, my name is Lisa Gorham and I would like to ask for your assistance if I may. My cousin in Kinston NC wanted this company to install a tub/shower in her home for her elderly, sick mother.

She has decided not to go through with it because she is still receiving treatment for breast cancer and after careful consideration, she has found that at this time it is not within her budget due to medical bills. She gave them a $1000 down payment. She has cancelled with the rep but is having a little trouble getting her refund. If I may ask, what steps did you have to take to get your refund.

Please reach me at mrsjellybean95@***.com.

Thank you in advance for any and all help you decide to give. I am happy that you got your money back.

Premiere Care Never Finished Work

My grandmother hired Premiere Care Bath in New Jersey a couple of weeks back and they completely ripped her off and has left the job incomplete and left walls in awful condition. They said they would have to make the doorway bigger which was fine and assured her that it would be as good as new when the job was complete. Now I went over there to discover that the walls were left half done, dirt everywhere and nails on the ground. My grandma is 87 years old and could have major issues because of it. Do not trust this company!

Lack of communication

Purchased a walkin tub/shower....beautiful product, great installation. My problem was lack of communication between the front office and me. The tub came (Wed) damaged (I had the electrican there as directed)...after that the communication was awful. The installers came Thursday with the tub (was damaged -minor - I waived it) and began work. electricans could not be there. Began install, couldn't finish, so spoke with head installer on Thur night and he said he'd be there Fri to finish. I took Friday off from work. They came about 5pm and finished the install. But during all this in the mean time I tried calling the office and communicating with people with 'authority'...wanted some kind of compensation for the inconvenience and time.....STILL WAITING!!! Would NOT RECOMMEND PREMIER to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope this will be of help to everyone with complaints... please feel free to repost, especially for those who are seeking legal means.

While I live in Delaware, this not well known law is being worked to become national as well. A top consumer affairs atty (Chris Curtin, 302/654-****) has drafted a Sr. Citizen and Disabled Act... that not only gets $ back, but holds the company liable for YOUR legal fees, AND awards triple the cost of the service/product situation you are sueing about...

The intent of this Act is to be punative against anyone who seeks to take advantage of those "most vulnerable" to deceptive business practices. Mr. Curtin's secretary can email his act to you or your atty. They say they posted it on the internet a while back, but I find it hard to locate even knowing what to look for!

This is like the lemon law on steroids, it covers all sorts of products and services.... especially home improvements, and any sales rep that comes to the house pressuring seniors and or the disabled.

I feel for all who have been abused by this company and others. Good Luck to all.

Premier Bathrooms took advantage of my mother

My mother invested in a walk in bath tub. I believe the seller just wanted to make a sale and really didn't care if the tub was suitable for this client. The tub is nice and works well for everyone except the intended user. The door for the tub is too small for my mother to get through and it opens into the tub. Now tell me if, she gets into the tub and something happens, how does she or any one else get her out. I am reading through the installers check list--now he has checked yes for all of the following--- - the slide bar and grab bars are not in the proper place for her - he did walk her through the door--and when she had to squeeze through--he told her it was just hard because she had clothes on----sorry but he just didn't want to start over with another tub--he just wanted to get the job done--and who cares if it works for her RIGHT? we have been trying to get ahold of the consultant--with no luck we are tired of people taking advantage and if we don't see any results from this complaint--then I will personally advertise my dissatisfaction as loudly as I can.

They ripped off my mother-in-law too. She paid them over $15,000 up front for a bathtub that is so slippery she almost falls when she steps several inches UP to get in it (she's 90 years old).

The shower is so hard to operate that she cannot physically operate it. She bought this contraption because she wanted to still live independently and be able to bathe without help. Now she sits for 20 minutes while it fills up with lukewarm water so she can use the hydrotherapy jets that don't help her bad back, then sits another 15 minutes while it drains. These people do not care about the elderly, and I wish to goodness she had never called them.

Plus the monstrosity has probably taken thousands of dollars OFF the value of her house.

They do not fully disclose the things they should to an elderly person. Do not even think of doing this, if you are considerng it!

ditto they ripped my mother off also

When investing large sums of money in home repairs, consumers should do their home work

and most importantly, Buy Local. If you have an issue, it is much easier to resolve than dealing with a national company. Companies like this one use sub-contractors for sales and installations, which create layers of protecting for the company.

:( URGENT - USE CAUTION WITH THIS COMPANY.

I am 78 yrs old and on a pension and SSA. I ordered a tub - they were going to tear out part of the bathroom. I paid $1000 deposit and stipulated a 3-4 mo delay to complete a porch. This delay was agreed to in writing. I had calls from install team and advised them porch not finished and I would call.

Meantime I was diagnosed with kidney failure and faced dialysis. Much $$$. I called and cancelled the order and requested a refund. Got a letter of REFUSAL. I wrote 2 letters explaining my dilema and BEGGED FOR REFUND. Got a call of refusal.

I am going towrite hdqtrs. to see if that will help as I am now desperate for the$$$.

THIS COMPANY IS NOT ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE or just HUMAN KINDNESS. Just $$$$

Premier Bathtubs. Company installed faulty tub in closer and will not replace.

Premier installed the tub and in closer for over $12,000, but when the in closer started to crack and get water damaged, we called to get the in closer replaced. Many times. Finally got somebody to listen after about a year, and they did send somebody out to look at it. He repair guy said yes it will be replaced and set a date. Nothing happened at that date. Was told the product was out of stock and set a new date. This has been going back and forth now for 2 years still no one has come to fix the problem. I recommend not using this company Premier.

I use to install for Premier, they are crooks. Everyone stay away from these people.

They over charge for their product, scam their own installers and run if there is any problems. I noticed today, how they are now trying to use the "name "senior Bath". Notice all the different names they have been using in the past. I am a texas Master plumber, please call me if you have any questions.

If there is someone reading this that is with Premier, call me, I would love to explain somethings to you to. These people are the worts company I have ever seen. 817-597-**** Call me, I will be happy to help any customer or someone looking for a good bath tub and a good company. email me if you want.

please!

Just stay away from Premier! hide your wallets!

I'm 89 years old and bought a Premier Bathtub in 2005 and was told it had a heater to keep the water at the same temperature and a safety device for the hot water so I couldn't be scalded. I was told it had a lifetime warranty.

When it was installed, they cracked my toilet and replaced it with an inferior one. When my tub drained, it flooded my basement because of improper plumbing. I had only used the tub less than a year when the closer malfunctioned and flooded my bathroom. I have called repeatedly about the door and finally my daughter called them and said it was unuseable for me and she wanted something done.

After repeated delays a repairman came out and told me I needed a new door. Cost $1,000. My son-in-law took the door off and immediately saw the problem. There was *** left in the bottom of the door and the material inside absorbed the water when the tub was full.

He drilled another hole and emptied the water, then patched both holes and reattached my door. I can't believe the inferior quality of the materials used.

Oh and by the way when the repairman came out and told me the new door would be $1000.00 I was charged a service call of $350.00. DO NOT BUY A PREMIER WALK-IN AIR JET TUB!!!!!!

first if someone wants a bathtub they need to go to homedepo or somewhere else. These are not off the shelf products. Only people that need a walk in bath buy a walk in bath.

The tub Enclosure or wall surround used by this company is not the best product for the application which they are using it for. They use it because of price not durability.

They only warranty it for a year.

You should have a document when the service guy showed up and that should be the date used for warranty purposes. Make complaints to consumer protection agency, if they don't replace it, hire a local contractor to install a FRP panel or like product designed for shower and bath enclosures.

Now think about this very hard...."$12000 for a bathtub". Fool and his money are soon parted.

Premier Care ***

In March of 2009, I bought a tub from Premier Bathtub. The salesman came to my house and in front of two witnesses assured me that the tub he was selling me was two inches wider inside and the same width outside compared to my present tub. I'm in a wheelchair and needed a wider tub because I've gained weight. The salesman, Byren Breffle, knew this was the only reason I was buying the tub and deliberately lied to me to make a sale. He'd measured my tub and knew the dimensions of his. As it turned out, Premiers tub was the same inside, which gave me nothing, and an inch narrower than my present tub making a room remodel necessary to install their tub. I had my old tub removed and the people doing it measured Premiers tub and found out the difference. I contacted who I could and the upshot was that Premier called and offered to kindly give me 1/2 of my money back. They offered to give all my money back if I sent papers from the sale and removal of my tub. I did and, of course, they didn't. On reflection, I should have taken this and still filed a lawsuit but I didn't. I thought they might find some integrity. I talked to a former salesman from Premier and was told this is standard practice for them. Make the sale at any cost and if there's consequences, deal with them later. Premier sent a rep out here to check into it. He told them my old tub had never been removed. I have receipts and the men who did it that say differently. I was told that I had to appear in South Daytona, by them, to sue and try to get my money back, which because of medical conditions from a stroke, I'm unable to do. For two years, they have steadfastly refused to return the money that they knowingly, I feel, stole from me. I can't believe they're allowed to do business anywhere. My suspicion is that they pay off the right people. Business the Chicago way. They now offered me my money but I have to sign a release for them absolving them of any wrongdoing, which I won't do. I've finally given up on getting Premier to do the right thing, it's clear they have no intention of doing so. I've seen no evidence that anyone at Premier knows what " the right thing " means. Everyone I dealt with at Premier was either a fraud, a liar, or someone I wouldn't want to associate with. If someone you care about is looking for a walk in tub, for their sake, recommend they look elsewhere. Their attitude from the beginning was " f### you, we have your money "
